I wear a lot of different caps, so I ordered this kit. I really wanted it for the occasional cleaning of nicer caps like my scally caps and newsboy styles, the kind of hats that need a gentler touch rather than a full scrub-down. These hats don't get soaked in sweat and dirt like a work hat does, so I needed something suited to that kind of light maintenance.Work hats need to get soaked and scrubbed, and this kit isn't trying to be that. For my dressier hats, though, this kit is great as part of regular maintenance or touch-up cleaning between wears. The foam cleaner and deodorizer spray keep them looking and smelling fresh without needing to fully wash them.If you expect this to make your wrenching cap sparkle, you might want to pass, that's just not what this is built for. But for anyone with a nicer hat collection looking to keep them in good shape, this has been a great addition.
This kit has already saved two of my favorite hats. The foam cleaner did a great job removing sweat stains and dirt without damaging the fabric, and the included brushes made it easy to clean different materials. Very effective! The hat shaper really helps the hats keep their original shape while drying, and the deodorizer leaves them smelling fresh without being overpowering. It also comes with everything you need, so there's no need to buy anything separately. If you wear hats often, this kit is definitely worth having.
My agendamen loves to wear hats, two in particular are in his main rotation and since he wears them to work they can get quite dirty and grimy. Baseball cap I normally just throw in the wash and allow it to air dry but that doesn't always get out all the grit and grime so I wanted to try this kid out and boy am I impressed! Does a terrific job of getting out that "sweat band" that appears right around the forehead, does not have a super strong scent to it and I love the brushes included as they really are able to get the solution deep down in there and the dirt out! Very easy to use, comes with instructions as well and can be used on a variety of different hats ranging from baseball caps to cowboy hats, Etc along with working on a wide variety of materials as well! So far I've tried the canvas of a baseball hat and a suede cowboy hat and it's done perfectly well and I haven't noticed any weird stains or marks from the solution, it comes up perfectly! Great value for what you are getting and will definitely help increase the longevity of your favorite hat!
Easy to use. It’s like dry cleaning.Usually I wait until my hats are filthy and toss them in the washing machine. That gets them too wet, and they need a long time to dry before I can reshape and wear them again. This kit is different. I cleaned the hat, and it lifted the dirt and grime without soaking it. Then I wiped it clean and let it air dry. It took about ten minutes to clean and about an hour to dry.I tried the deodorizing spray, and it has a generic clean smell. We’re fragrance‑free for most items, so I’ll probably give that part away. For me, the two brushes and the foaming cleaner are worth the price of the kit on their own. I’ll be able to clean a lot of hats.The foaming cleaner also seemed to darken the blue and brighten the white which made the hats look newer.The brushes are medium stiffness, good for normal ball caps. I had a fitted cap with an elastic headband, and the bristles tried to grab onto it, so I had to clean that part delicately. The regular cotton band was easy to scrub and showed the best results because it was the dirtiest.The kit is effective and fast. A great way to revive you favorite hats.

It includes a foam cleaner, deodorizing spray, microfiber towel, and two different style brushes.My favorite tool so far is the round brush. The shape is unique and makes it easy for my small hands to grip while cleaning. The flat brush is good for brushing away dust and lint prior to cleaning. The bristles are sturdy but soft enough that it shouldn't damage your hats.It seems like a well thought out quality kit to have on hand for regular cleanings. If you wear hats often, this would be a nice all in one addition.

Great hat reshape tool. I paired this with a hand held steamer and it got the creases out of my hats that got damaged in the mail.
very useful reviving a lot of my old hats. I usually just do one hat a night and leave it running for four hours that way everything dries up perfectly.

I finally found a solution to bring life back to many of my favorite hats that I thought I had lost due to too much wear and not enough care. It was simple, I washed the hat then put it on the hat care machine. I've got a bigger head so I adjusted it as such. Within a few hours I had my old hat back. It's a must if you have hats that, like mine, have been neglected.
Refreshed and reshaped more than 2 dozen hats over the course of 10 days. Couldn’t have been simpler. Appreciate the liquid starch being included. Great value, and easy to use. Fan is a bit loud, but was to be expected. End result is all about how well you strip/wash the hat yourself.
I ordered the product because all of my cotton caps and hats were floppy and collapsed. By placing each cap and hat onto the adjustable form and then spraying the fabric with Aleene's Stiffen Quick until it dried, I've restored them to optimum shape. I'm happy with the product.
Product is good. Used to reshaped 35 pics of hats. And it's good as new.
This device works great, just soak everything but the bill of the hat with heavy duty starch install hat to the device and proceed as instructed.Your hat will keep the shape and still be flexible.
I was a little skeptical about buying this after reading some of the reviews. I bought some caps from China from the famous Chinese website. Of course they all came in a plastic mailer package and were smushed flat and deformed. So I thought I would give this a try. To my surprise, this thing worked perfectly. I have restored all my hats to their original shape. Kudos to the manufacturer for a great idea. And best thing is, it’s made in the USA!!!
Product was well packaged, simple to assemble, and easy to use. After washing my hat and applying some starch, I placed the hat on the shaper. After 1 hour the hat was perfectly shaped! See before and after photos. I highly recommend this product to all hat enthusiasts!!
