I finally found a solution to bring life back to many of my favorite hats that I thought I had lost due to too much wear and not enough care. It was simple, I washed the hat then put it on the hat care machine. I've got a bigger head so I adjusted it as such. Within a few hours I had my old hat back. It's a must if you have hats that, like mine, have been neglected.

The item worked good and caps kept their shape

I was a little apprehensive about getting this after reading some of the reviews, but I'm relieved to say, I was pleasantly surprised with this. I soaked my hat in Oxyclean for a little while, rinsed it off well, and got out as much water as I could. I then put the hat on the dome on the rack adjusting the two sides so the hat is taut, but not getting stretched out. I sprayed the hat with the starch spray that was included. I set the fan to high, and the timer to four hours. It didn't take that long, when I checked it at about two and a half hours, it was already dry. I did about five of my hats since getting this and I'm satisfied!I definitely recommend this hat dryer/refresher!

At some point, my baseball caps become so sweat stained and smelly that they must be laundered. I don't like to do it, but it becomes a necessity.I place the cap in a lingerie bag and wash it on delicate with a detergent made for hand washing. I then use the machine to dry the hat. To date, I haven't had the courage to use the stiffening spray.The drying feature is great. I don't have to wait forever for the hat air dry.This is a neat little machine.

Wow, this thing works really well and is very easy to use. It paid for itself the first day I had it, you can't beat the value. It's the perfect size, I have it stored on my shelf in my closet and it comes out and plugs in like a snap. It's very easy to use, the steam really gets those wrinkles out, and with the hardener for the front, your hats end up looking like new, without those telltale signs it was washed. Or trying to iron it on the corner of your ironing board. If you have a lot of hats like me, and you try hard to keep them fresh, you need this thing. I've done 5 hats on it and I can't believe how they turned out. The machine is high quality too. You can adjust all the settings right on the side to get it right how you want it. I'm very happy I decided to get it, definitely a worthwhile purchase.

This is the perfect gift for someone who “collects” hats/caps. My collection is not too extensive (yet), but I can see me using this hat care machine on a regular basis.I seem to be drawn to the more unstructured type of cap. I really like that style, but not necessarily all the wrinkles that sometimes come with them. I’m using this machine currently to add a little “backbone” to a nylon-ish cap I own. Love the hat. Not a fan when it takes on a collapsed look. I steamed the cap first, then onto the machine it went to dry into shape.Love the hat size numbered adjustments. Should make it easier to keep a consistent sizing to all my hats. You know, I’m thinking this might also work for drying wigs. Maybe. Just a thought.

I've used it on dozens of hats now. This device does a great job of drying wet or damp hats. It's surprisingly fast. It was really easy to put together. It's also adjustable to fit various larger or smaller sizes. I've been washing my hats in the sink with spray detergent then rinsing them out and putting them in this hat shaper to dry into proper shape. The stiffening spray works great also. I'd definitely recommend this.Overall 5 stars

This is a wonderful product. We own an embroidery studio and we embroider a lot of hats. Finishing them with this system makes our hats perfect. Great quality materials and construction and easy to use. Great Value
